Don't go into something if you aren't actually passionate about it.

For my specific niche, which is somewhat related to CS, I churn out projects on my own free time because I'm actually interested in it. Then I post it on my blog which I can then link it directly to my website portfolio showcasing all my capabilities. I also volunteer in collaborative disaster relief efforts which I also put on my blog. Helps me make friends and network and keep me up to date on the latest tech, and gives me a sense of purpose in life.

Of course, I still make time for leisure (shitposting, homosex) which I can do more of now that I have a remote job. It's still import to relax but you need to balance it.
Don't fap until you do something that will help your career.
Don't shitpost until you do something that will improve your finances.
You have to train yourself. My bf doesn't let my dick out of my chastity cage unless I do something productive. I literally cannot fap until I do so. I had to go that extreme because I was spending too much time fapping and shitposting. It sounds weird but it works.

Use AI as a tool to teach yourself how to code and to help you brainstorm ideas for your blog to showcase your passion. That's what I do now. I wish it came out 10 years earlier; would've saved hours of work.
