I work at a school for the mentally challenged and I used to bond with one of the students over crypto trading, but lately he hasn't been showing interest. He says he won't be buying until Bitcoin is 10k and that he's "100% in stables" until then. I think something he saw on reddit has convinced him that there will be a recession but it's hard to say, because when I ask him about it he most often goes silent, shuts down emotionally, or lashes out at me. Some of his playmates have been making money hand over fist since Bitcoin has nearly doubled from the generational bottom in the last few months but this has only further entrenched him in his position. I've tried explaining to him that Bitcoin will never be below 20k again and it will hit a new ATH in 2024 but he won't listen. Advice on how to deal with retards who get their financial opinions from reddit?
