>made statement "what happens on the truck stays on the truck"
>every 2nd day i would get a call from management from these people dobbing me in for minor mistakes
>get switched over to a tech side, there are also a bunch of peasants that dob people just to get them fired
>advised by a tech that dispatch side had wanted me gone and that it was the nature of the company

I've been thinking about resigning, Has anyone dealt with such an environment where this stuff occurs?

The managers seem like they get swayed from left to right, they know they're manipulative but still listen to them. Sort of dont know what to do to be honest. I've done further studies to enter this industry but its not working out.

What would you do?

I think toxic management and culture just happens in some places. I have worked in a couple places where management tried to fuck interns, tried to get interns to fuck each other, made nonstop sexual innuendo to each other, had open office romance, etc..

Just leave, work is more than a job to these people. It’s not worth the stress and the down the line reference check when you work somewhere shitty and they stab you in the back as you try to get out.

Being a broker means you’re working with something thats constantly revolving 24/7 with strict timetables, all sorts of legal bullshit to sort through, and requires precision at every step of the way lest something gets super fucked up and now a business or whatever is pissy at you for fucking something up, being paperwork or shipping or whatever. Its one of those jobs where you pretty much have to nolife it, so it shouldn’t be too shocking that those who have been in for a while are a little nuts. And I’d imagine in Australia its all even worse. Don’t get too uppity yet OP, try to stick it out until you find something else, but just keep in mind that the big six figure salary is often dangled in front of you like a carrot on a stick to get you into a shitty job.
