I’m going through the social media accounts of them right now and I’m feeling downright suicidal.

Good looking, young professional types that date and only hang out with other people just like them are having the time of their lives. They pair up and each of the make 70-110k for a combined 150k+ income, they rent a 2 bedroom apartment for $1,800 and have a combined, post tax income of like 10k.

I’m looking through the social media pages of a couple right now and they’ve traveled more in the past month than I have in my entire life. The women are all in perfect shape, the guys all have Norwood 1 hairlines, all have perfect, straight, white teeth, they have no obvious social abnormalities, the world is literally their oyster.

I’ve never been so demoralized. Their lives are perfect, high income, perfect genes, amazing social circles, they do it so effortlessly.

Iktf, I make 300k at 28 but I’m a weird autistic manlet. I work with a lot of them. There are couples I know where each makes 250-400k a year and they live in 2 million dollar houses with perfect IG lifestyles… even more blackpilling… most of these perfect normies you see come from well off families where they are gifted 6-7 figures to start their lives and never have student loans or need to worry about saving for a down payment. They literally make 500k-1M HHI and mommy and daddy help them buy a house. I know a few like this personally

Growing up is realizing that the rich get richer and it doesn't apply to just money, it's literally everything. If you're born into a rich family you'll likely end up richer AND healthier AND with a better network/social circle. These memes about "hard times make strong men" or whatever stupid shit are just pure poor people cope. Traumatic childhood makes you weaker and poorer, not stronger, and "spoiled" rich childhood makes you stronger and richer.

I’m stuck living at home even though I make enough to move out and live comfortably. Unfortunately my parents barely have higher ambitions and didn’t save for retirement so I have to help pay the bills. I can feel how behind I am socially. Destroying the social pipeline that allows this to happen is, I hope, one of the side effects of the coming recession. Not to destroy society, of course, but just to force the people who'd previously been afforded the luxury of physically jetting off into their own exclusive worlds to crab along with the rest of us. If they want to escape drudgery, it'll be online or in video games like a responsible climate change era-person. The days of living in a 20-something's theme park will be over.
I get to say this because I spent my 20s toiling in a mind-numbing admin job, the only millennial in my office, alone every night, every weekend, unable to afford food and rent, unable to move away. I am the one who reeees.

The ones that had graduated and started working all made upwards of 260k.
My wife and I each earn about 230-260k for a combined annual income of half a million. We own two houses and their both super cheap so we have a lot of expendable income. Shit is nice.

This has always been the case though. That's the entire concept of generational wealth. While you should always aim upwards, it's unfair to yourself to compare against kids who come from million-dollar families. There are opportunities that you're never even given the chance to take, that they do.
Don't let social media cloud your judgement for what's possible, or frankly what you "should" or "shouldn't" be entitled to. Virtually no one in their 20s lives the lifestyles described here, that's why it's novel and desirable. Keep putting in the work, it legitimately does get better.

you need to at least say how can I profit from this? to make it biz related, but social mobility is a meme, most jobs can be done by most people and in a fair world you could conduct interviews and training exercises to determine the best person, but normgroid wagesalves want a socialization aspect to work hence there are so many interviews that are really just personality tests to see if you fit in your work family. (hint, you are the step dad that no one respects and only a part of hte family as long as she is happy.)

The Boomer era is over, the cream is rising to the top, but what no one tells you until it is too late is that this RPG is family based. If you were blessed with maxed out stats, but your parents were Boomer conservatives afraid of technology and yet addicted to tv while being workaholics on the farm and thought the best use for their genius son was handing tools to him, while he worked on implements because his Mountain Dew addiction made him balloon to 350 pounds, then you are fucked. that is the whole purpose of taking your kids skiiing, trips to Europe, summer dance/ basketball clubs, etc. so they can mingle with others of their peer group while not making it obvious the plebs are not invited. Even rural America is like this, where the rich farmers send their kids off to camps while the plebs are stuck at the pool all summer, it leads to a lot of resentment. My sister married into the richest family around and they wondered why so many people fought them so hard at city council on everything and I explained how they do not view you as part of hte town. They were pissed at me when I am just the messenger. This does not bode well for long term stability, but at the same time I never had to be told to never tell anyone the amount of Bitcoins I own.

Aside from those who came from well-off families majority of those yuppies are pretending to be "perfect" because validation of their peers is more important to them. The pic you posted does show a correlation between IQ and income but it doesn't seem that strong. Plenty of people in the 120-130 range seem to be making the same as people in the 70-80 range. And also it seems plenty of these literal retard tier IQs seem to be making 100k+ even.

>The Pearson correlation between IQ score and net worth is roughly half (0.156, pb0.01) the correlation between IQ score and income (0.297, pb0.01). This reveals a weaker relationship between IQ scores and wealth than between IQ scores and income.

>This means that IQ scores and income increase together, but the relationship is not very strong. Fig. 2 shows the mass of points is neither rising nor falling. This suggests that when IQ scores increase there is no tendency for net worth to increase. The two plots suggest IQ test scores are linked with income, but not with wealth.

From the study itself. I don't think the study really says what you think it says. It seems having a high IQ has barely any effect on wealth(which is what really matters) and not a very strong effect on income either.

>Adoption studies of identical twins also show they usually end up in the same income decile, irrespective of adoptive family's wealth.
If both your family's wealth and IQ are pretty weak predictors then I wonder what it is that actually matters?

I fucked up my life by thinking too much and being incapable of (((playing the game))) but I honestly wish that my children (yes I have them, white, blue eyed and good-looking) to be these same, effortless suceedooorrrs that cause such hopeless seething in the unwashed masses.

Predatoriness (ie, predatory mentality; ie, predator vs prey; ie, psychopathic behavior). Basically, the ability to get money is based on the ability to get money just like the ability to get a good score on a test is taking the test. Rich people have a lot of money because that’s their goal, and they will force it out of you. Rich people are in general the hardest. They nickel and dime the shit out of you because “they pay you”. If you’re paying them, like a visit to the doctor, they will keep that money which is usually a lot regardless of what happens (visit them, the examine you 2 seconds, and don’t find anything; or you die). Most people, if something doesn’t work out, will forgo some or all of the money. It’s a headache to constantly be fighting for a hundred here or there. People would rather go on their way cuz they value other things like peace and mental health. But rich people will fight you over a few dollars. Or they have a system in place to do it for them. Again, for example doctors have a medical biller. Big investors have a system in place like the markets. Watch shark tank. Those people are assholes. Kevin O’Leary / Mr wonderful is an absolute asshole. He intentionally likes making people miserable, whereas poor people won’t do that cuz they’re “nice”. I went to school in a poor area. They dropped pens and pencils on the ground all the time. I didn’t have to buy school supplies because I found them or could borrow paper. If I asked to borrow paper, they’d give me 40-50 pages. When I went to a rich school, they’d tell me to be prepared and gave me 2. I never saw pens and pencils laying in the ground, or if I did, they were messed up and broken.

TLDR: rich people are assholes

All i can advice anyone under 20 on this board is that you should get the fuck away from wasting too much time in front of screens... Try to find local hiking groups or go to music festivals even if you don't like it. Work on presenting yourself as an attractive guy, by working gym and then clothing. Being presentable would allow you to walk into any job interview and talk with confidence. Engage in activities that don't allow you to think too much about stuff not related to your life.

Social media has made browsing web insufferable. All one can do is realise that avoiding it would be the best thing.

This is a common cognitive bias/coping mechanism: the idea that everything balances out. The athletic men and beautiful women are all actually dumb. The masculine man is compensating for some sexual defect. The person with a fun life is naive and "couldn't face the real world." The rich person with more money is completely vapid.

This is all false. It's something people say to feel better about themselves, and it catches on because it has a sense of logic to it, the idea of things balancing out is intuitive, almost self-evident. But it is wrong. In reality, most positive traits: intelligence, good looks, athleticism, good personality, and wealth all correlate with each other. Success begets success; failure begets failure.

There really is a born alpha factor beyond money that sucks your soul out. I've "made it" enough to live in a rich neighborhood full of medical couples as a single guy.

Two doctors at a prestigious hospital live next door. They are my age but fit, organized, and infinitely smarter than I will ever be. They have the perfect 2.5 kids going to a private school, shiny new SUVs, and a live in nanny. A wonderfully well behaved dog while mine is a nervous barker.

They are perfectly friendly to my face but I can feel the disdain when they have to see my fat, uneducated ass walking around in my garbage bag sized shirts from the big and tall store. They have a constant flow of friends and family and other smart doctors, while my house is quiet 90% of the time. I have a few huge windows and they can see me eating goyslop alone very late, hours after they have dinner at a decent time.

I probably earn roughly as much as they do combined, but the other life factors are fucking crushing. All the self improvement BS in the world would never put me on their level. Money can't buy you missed young love, socialization, college experiences. Comfort, yes, but never class if you weren't born with it.

In my experience, upper-class people will be friendlier than average as long as you come across as friendly. Doctors in particular are going to have a lot of experience dealing with plebs and misfits. If you start attending social gatherings, dressing well, and making an effort to improve your social skills you'll be able to get along with them. You should remember that your objective is to build the life you want, not to have it somehow handed to you just for existing or having a certain amount of money. And since you have money, I think you could make huge progress in just the span of a year. Since you've even pinpointed all the particular things you're insecure about, you know exactly what to fix.
