Interesting. When I had a year to do little else other than contemplate, I read the Gideon Bible cover to cover. I saw a recurring theme of "confusion" being the end and punishment of Man. Later I downloaded the KJV and NIV versions, and Ctrl-F neither has the word "confusion".
I just downloaded the NRSV version (thanks for IDing it), and it uses "confusion" as I recalled.

Indeed. Your best bet the next time that happens, in the New Testament at least, is to go on biblegateway and look at the Mounce Interlinear Bible for the passage in question. It'll have an original greek manuscript and an english translation you can compare it to. Put the greek term into a search engine and derive a gloss from that.

I've two bibles, one about 100 years old (cheap from a thrift store) and a more recent one I saved from a paper disposal. Didn't actually fully read them, because I read the bible completeley once some years prior. If I'm interested into something specific I look it up on the internet, especially Revelation. Funny really, we also have a baby bible and a children bible. My wife found the baby bible in the sort out from a library for free and the children bibel we found on the sidewalk, pristine condition. I swear our young son asked us about reading to him the bible and we found them soon after in order, first the baby version and then the child version. Me reading the later one to him made me again realize some aspects about the bible I've forgotten. There is so much to ponder about. At one point you'll get to the book of Enoch which isn't part of the Bible or religious teachings (except for jews and christians in Ethiopia), my guess is simply because it's too hard to understand and to accept. I'm on my second time listening to https://youtube.com/watch?v=TTyy9eQDFs0&pp=ygUNYm9vayBvZiBlbm9jaA%3D%3D

I guess simply start with any Bible and pray to recieve wisdom. Praying works for real.

checkin' those trips. 1 Enoch is really really weird. I wouldn't recommend it for most people, it's a book of visions that require interpretation and historical context. Very easy to come away with a wrong idea of what the author means. tldr Judaism was not yet the fractured mess of large factions it is today, it was worse. jewish theology and interpretation was undergoing changes at the hands of scribes during a time of intense political unrest. read very carefully.

>Can you explain what the house of Israel means in Matthew 15?
Jesus' earthly ministry was directed towards Judeans, who already knew God the Father and could thus recognize God the Son. The pagans did not know God the Father sop couldn't have possibly known God the Son. I still buy some "fun" coins like pic, but they're only a very small part of my stack, and even there I avoid high premium collectibles. In fact, these two kilo coins were very cheap, just a little above 24 euros/oz (bought last fall during the dip). Do your own research but do listen to the replies so far, these anons are correct in my opinion. Gold and silver have been stores of value for 5000 years of human history and from my hundreds of hours of research they are very likely to retain their value beyond my lifetime, so as a store of value over generations, precious metals are really unmatched compared to other materials and products. As a speculation, gold is at an all-time high in price but the price could continue to go up 25% in the next six months. We are at the beginning of a multi-year bullrun according to technical analysis, so it makes sense to accumulate now. As of this very second the stock market could crash 20-90% in just a few weeks if the US debt ceiling deal isn't reached, so keep some of your powder dry (don't spend all your cash) in case you can buy stocks at a steep discount. Buy a little all the time, your entire life, because having zero percent gold and silver is foolish, but while being 100% gold and silver is not terrible, it is likely also not ideal for building your wealth. Gold beat the stock market in relative performance for many years, so for those years it was definately better, but it isn't always better as an investment every single year. It is just a percentage that you decide, 10% to buy precious metals, the rest into other investments. Betting 100% on a single thing is gambling, might as well go to the casino if you believe in being only 100% in one thing. You can have PMs, crypto, stocks, real estate, you can have more than one thing, but the percentage of your money going to each is up to you to decide. I'm also not buying to sell in two weeks. I can hold for decades and give no shots, holding pms is fine.

I saw a relative exotic offer, or I just not realized these exist before.

a half a gram gold coin.
the example offer is Charles III coronation
minted by New Zealand. for 124,99 EUR.
looking up the gold price it seems a bit high priced, I'm mentioning it because of the coin size in gold.
to the anon asking about Elizabeth/Charles, please ignore, this is not meant to be advice in any way.

Overpriced. You can get this 1/2 gram for 55.76 euros, or the 1 gram armenian ark for 75.91 (goldsilver.be). But that still seems like a lot, the ark was like 69 or a bit less last fall. By my calculations, and compared to 1 oz krugerrand prices then vs. now, it should be more like 73.

The global financial system has been creating hundreds of TRILLIONS of dollars worth of IOUs. In the instance of America, the bond market is $46TN and is slightly more than the value of the housing market. Imagine trying to transfer that amount of resources to make good on these paper-IOUs. It's not going to happen and most likely these losses will be papered over or outright defaulted on. The system as it stands now is basically a ponzi scheme. It has worked for so long that almost no one alive really has a reason to doubt it. Everyone pays their money into it and Wallstreet and the government launder it through. You can chase after basis points to earn a return but there is absolutely zero capacity for everyone to cash out their portfolios to lock in their purchasing power. We are all bought in in numerous ways such as paying taxes, social security, medicare, medicaid, insurance, pensions, and real estate/401k contributions. In all of these ways we think we obtain some value and we do for the most part. But all of that capital that we earn gets cycled into the Wallstreet-Treasury ponzi. When the inflation never stops and people begin to look for better investments (especially when their stocks cannot stay above inflation rate, let along bonds) that purchasing power will be looking for a new home that is free from the dilution. When that moment happens and people come to terms with needing to a physical store of value people will be putting their paychecks into PMs and there won't be any to buy because the market is so thin. Even if Wallstreet can prop up the markets and make them look good, eventually they will crush the price blind side you because the simple fact is this: Accounting and finance can NEVER create value on their own. They can only move things around, and Wallstreet can not save us from the galaxy sized losses headed our way. They can't just wave a magic wand and have the problem disappear without basically breaking everything.

It's shit

I switched back to my 1989 Radio Shack as my main, and a Garrett Ace 250 for backup. I never found anything with the Bounty Hunter. Even worse, when I realized I wasn't finding anything I went back over the ground I had hit with it and found $12k in coins I missed. Complete waste of time and money. I'm going to sell it soon.

This one sells for 33.60 euros, that's getting towards the limit of what I'm willing to spend (and only for very interesting coins). But this is from a country I don't have anything from yet, and it's only minted to 5000. Plus the design is cool.

If I was gonna recommend a computerized detector I'd say Garrett Ace series or anything MineLab that costs more than $1500.

but neither one can beat an old analog detector and some boomer that knows how to use it. I follow the guys with the new detectors and find tons of treasure their machines missed.

Pretty sure the reason most trannies kill themselves is because they come to the realization that their "community" is nothing but perverts and mentally ill freaks and after destroying your body and embarrassing yourself by coming out to all of your friends and family is so overwhelmingly embarrassing that they literally cannot return to their normal life and they know it. And the only people who want anything to do with them are just looking to bust a nut in their ass like a diseased cum dumpster. The consequences are realized when it is already too late. They end up worn out, friendless outsiders that shit themselves in public places. To make this post /biz/ related, invest in Kimberly Clark because selling adult diapers to Americans is going to be an expanding enterprise.

I don't think so. I think they kill themselves as some kind of grand finale to their attention-seeking obsession.
They seem to think killing themselves will somehow make us feel sorry for them and reconsider accepting them as normal human beings. Or they're trying to hurt their families.

The name of god is Yehovah, from the words Hayah "he was", Hoveh "he is", and Yih'yeh "he will be", that all get combined into one word. The jews went to great lengths to try and hide the name because early Christians were going around doing miracles in Yehovah's name and they couldn't so they banned the name. That's why you get G-d, Adonai (LORD), Hashem (the name) and other such contrivances.
Yehoshua means "Ya (Yehovah) saves". The shorter form of that is Yeshua. The greeks didn't have a 'Y', so they used an 'I', which later became a 'J' on it's way to english. Also no self respecting greek man would have a feminine name ending like "-a" so they changed it to the masculine "-us" and thats how he's called Jesus in english.
