Should I take the job with a defense contractor or is there a chance of them not being able to pay me due to the government defaulting?

>> No.55089436

not going to find a job more secure unless you work for the government itself.

The company will have plenty of cash for payroll if there's a shutdown or delay of payments for a month or two.

Your employment contractvis with the contractor not the Federal government. Worst case scenario you're getting severance if the government defaults and the company has to do layoffs.

>> No.55089571

there is zero chance of the government defaulting
there is zero chance that in the event of default, which will not happen, defense contracts will be in line for pay cuts
