Your silver will never be real money. Silver has no value, no liquidity, and will never be a currency. Your silver is a shiny rock twisted by jews with paper manipulation into a crude mockery of economic perfection. All the “stacking” you do is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back jews manipulate you and laugh at you. It's counterparts soar in value and liquidity, all while the dust that settles on your stack serves as a metaphorical laugh at the idea that it will ever be worth anything. The average person thinks your silver is worthless and laugh at you behind your back and mock you. Thousands of years of economic evolution have allowed jews to manipulate your worthless rocks with incredible efficiency. Even goldfags who stack think less of you. Your financial fantasies are a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk farmer to trade his goods for your rocks, he’ll turn for his gun when he finds out he's been scammed. Silver will never be money. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, that your stack will pull you through, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight. Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss, leaving your worthless pile of rocks behind. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a wooden headstone, and every passerby for the next 20 years will know a poor man is buried there. Your body and headstone will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is an unmarked grave, and a pile of rocks that will be swiftly pawned off to the local corner store, and there will be nothing left. This is what you chose. This is your destiny. There's no turning back.

Never tell anyone except close family you can trust about your stack. I've casually mentioned buying PMs to friends when they bring up stocks or crypto. I only do because I care about them, but never explicitly tell them I stack. I only said I got some from my dad for my birthday and I have some silver coins from older relatives. I don't think my friends take the hint unfortunately.

My dad casually stacks silver rounds for fun, bought a bunch for my mom for her birthday last year. My mom recently wanted to get him some for his birthday. She surprised me when she said she wanted 1 oz of each silver, gold and platinum. I made sure she understood what that cost and she knew. Helped her choose what to order and she did a bank wire the day after. My moms more based than I thought. She does wire art and is neck deep in copper too.

Looks like an Elsa Peretti pattern? I don't personally like it much but go for whatever you'd truly enjoy using. Towle's simple Art Deco "Symphony" pattern from 1931 is one of my favorites. Expect to get ~90% of melt value selling silverware to a refinery, rather less to a pawn shop or LCS, and maybe a good deal over spot if you have a rare/desirable pattern and sell it on eBay (old Georg Jensen and Tiffany stuff always seems to sell for a high premium). Since most sets from the standard sterling manufacturers just sell for around scrap value on eBay.com it's easy to get one without paying over spot and then justify the purchase as simply being an atypical form of bullion.

Quick reminder that when the Germans smashed the jweish paper ponzi scheme, from 1933 onwards they were able to trade 5 reichsmarks for 2 dollars then redeem the silver from the dollars, squeezing those jikes dry of the gols and silver theyd stolen from Germany. Germany was supposed tonbe shorted so international finance could come in and slurp the dip, but the Germans did not like being pillaged or starved.

It's only an investment if you buy it second hand for cheap. The mark up on brand new silverware is absolutely ridiculous compared to it's spot value. Like x6-8 spot, and when you will list back on ebay, you can kiss the premium goodbye, it will sell for lower than rounds. Silverware is a scam if you buy it new, but super based if you get it for below spot on ebay. And you regularly can find complete sets on sale. Just polish it a bit once it's arrive home and you'll pay $1,100 for something sold for $12,000 in store.

Not sure where you get this idea. Smells like a futility fud and it is factually incorrect. Fiat currencies around the globe have a track record of one dismal failure after another. The USD has had unprecedented success for an unbacked paper currency ONLY because it started out backed with gold under unique post-world war circumstances - and it is also failing. So, no, it didn't work with fiat currencies. And it won't work with cbdc.

Yes, they always fail and then the banks do it again, and again, and again, and again. Fiat currencies failing is just part and parcel of the constant ordeal. Banks control governments and if they control governments, then they control policy to infinitely do this shit. You have to ban commercial and central banking for this to stop. Getting testy? Must be feeling the weakness in your position.

You need to read up on monetary history. Fiat currency is a very recent development in a world that has, for almost all of known history, used gold and silver as money. Fiat currency is an anomaly that was born out of the unique circumstances of two world wars back to back. History does not support your thesis that it is inevitable. On the contrary, history supports the thesis that a return to precious metal commodity money is inevitable.

What is needed is for culture to change. Everything else follows from there. For example, the Japanese people, culturally, view debt as poison. As a consequence, the people have very little debt. It is an almost entirely cash economy. They don't use credit cards and they save at high rates. The Japanese government acts with typical irresponsibility, but the people are culturally resistant to debt slavery. The same kind of resistance to fiat currency is likely to arise with the inevitable failure of the USD and no cbdc will have a chance.

You don't need changes in the law. You need changes in culture. And that is what stacking is about - the seeds of a cultural change that will germinate with the spectacular failure of the USD..

If you can save fiat at all, then yes, put maybe 3-10% of your savings into PMs. PMs are to preserve your wealth. If you don't have wealth, there's nothing to preserve. What is wealth? Being able to keep enough fiat to cover 3 or more months' of expenses. Hahaha. Another nigger not paying attention to what I said. The state IS the representation of the people because democracies are about electing a representative whether you like it or not. That's how debt slavery is spread to us all, because it is the formality that enslaves us, like the piece of paper known as the birth certificate. If anyone here wants real freedom, fuck off to the Amazon, or have a go at abolishing all legal fiction, also known as civilization to go back to barbarism.

>when spot reaches $50+
(Assuming you're a Burger) Two things to mitigate that:
1) Spread your sales out across a few dealers and keep cash sales under $10k. Accept checks for more that $10k. This will avoid requiring the store to file a Form 8300 to the IRS.
2) You have been keeping your receipts, right? If you end up reporting to the IRS, you deduct the purchase price from the sale price, and that's the profit you're paying taxes on - so about half as much as sales of metals for which you have no receipt.
3) If you've inherited a pile, make sure you get it formally assessed for value. That is what will form the base for determining profit when you sell.

As for *whether* you can sell if SHTF, no-one knows. Dealers make money by selling, and if they're only buying from everyone, their funds will dry up.

You can sell back to online bullion dealers. I don't know if they offer great returns though.
There are Redditors here who will suggest some forum there.
Ebay will charge 13% auction fees and someone has to pay shipping, but it works.
Others have suggested Craig's List, but man... that carries set of caveats.

I was the one that mentioned about Mexican Libertads and Mexican peso coins being phased out this year.
Do Mexican glowies browse this website? Am I getting sodomized by my own country's army?

I'm seriously shitting myself about the hypothetical happening that can happen in my shithole when it goes full Argentina, and the Mexican peso has a 200% inflation on a month, or so.

>> No.55063342

I would prep as hard as you can, amigo. If you’re stuck in a city the best thing you can do is stack metals, water, and food. I would say move to a small town where you can work but have access to land to grow food but Mexico seems like a perpetual war zone that will be hit with chaos harder and more uniformly than the US.

Your fears are shared globally. I slaved away for years to be able to move from the city to the countryside and I’m in the process of renovating my house and converting my lot into a garden. I am shitting myself knowing that if I can’t get this done in time I’ll be in a far worse place than if I had just one more year before shit gets biblical.

Wait, can you really just buy some cheap land in the UK and just build a house on it?
I highly doubt that. And Land that’s already zoned for residential use is probably insanely expensive anywhere remotely close to liveable.
>The property market will crash later this year, and it will give you the greatest value for money.
Probably. But it should crash later this year since years, yet it refuses to do so. For Germany, there’s also the first analysts givin reasons for why the prices will start to raise again later this year.

The UK doesn't really have much in the way of zoning, you should be able to build once you get planning permission but even if you can't for some reason, landbanking still acts as a very good store of wealth.
