VT for me. I prefer to have international diversification. + it gives a slightly better dividend. + the lower share price means i have more contracts at my disposal for theta strategies.

i have fidelity. I max out the ~20k every year in 401k, I keep most in nasdaq then move about 30% into brokeragelink split up among Asian and biotech funds.
My Roth is entirely in TQQQ. Approximately $110k all combined

Got most of my traditional IRA in yield bearing ETFs every month and slowly accumulating VZ, VOO and just collecting dividends until some light at the end of the tunnel reveals itself. As far as my wage cage retirement account I don’t even bother looking at it, but I do max out my matched contribution so we’ll see how it looks when the time comes.

Have 75% VTI, 25% GBTC/ETHE in my Roth IRA. 15% of my salary goes to my 401k, and is in the most aggressive Fidelity mutual funds, with my employer matching 6% in company stock. But, as far as my personal stock portfolio, I’m heavy in AI/tech, and also the S&P ($VOO).

TQQQ is a terrible hold unless you’re swinging it. You do realize TQQQ is rebalanced like once a week, right? It will decay overtime if you keep holding it because it’s a leveraged ETF. You’re literally throwing your money away.

I’m not sure yet. I just had it switched over on Friday from Vanguard retirement funds after a Spiva report came out saying most retirement funds suck ass. Now Fidelity is managing it for .5% a year. It hasn’t updated yet on my account, so not sure which funds they’re gonna use.

>> No.55052559

>>55052392
Yup. People think bonds and index funds will lead them to retirement based on 15 years of QE and ZIRP. I'm glad these are the people on the other side of my trades

Fidelity does a decent job managing but I hope their plan is better than sticking you in index funds for half a percentage point

This is a meme, the gains beat the decay and the underlying in basically every scenario

Interest rates are to offset inflation which is bullish for stocks. 5% interest rates when inflation is 5% is still zero rate. You would need rates to rise faster than inflation for this to be bearish, like what happened when the fed had to catch up in 2021.

And the post 08 QE never stopped lol The fed tried to roll it back starting in 2015 but had to abandon that in 2019 when the repo market failed. Now the monetary expansion is probably going to be permanent, another QE is 100x more likely instead of a reversal back to pre 08 levels. That's how fiat works, the supply will almost always increase over time.

>>55052636
The risk with TQQQ is more that these derivative based funds tend to blow up every so often, Like a period of low liquidity, high volatility could compound over a few days and devastate a long term position. Unlikely but if you're holding for years and years it becomes more and more likely. Like the short VIX funds that were "free money" before they went to zero randomly in 2018.

That's why it's nice to do it inside an IRA, if I smell a whiff of talmudic sorcery, I sell everything wait a few days or weeks then buy back or DCA in if it still looks sketchy
