I went to Chapman University (small regional private school) and studied film. It’s a top 5 film school and I thought that’s what I wanted to do when I was 18 but I’m afraid I limited myself

But I way outperformed my mediocre school and shit major

>25 years old
>$400k net worth from inheritance
>$130k a year job in media partnerships in tech

I’m worried I’ll be limited in the future because of my education, but an MBA is expensive as fuck. I don’t want to waste my inheritance on it when I could use it in 10 years to start a business. But I’m insecure as fuck, so maybe I will blow it on an MBA from NYU or something.

Would that be retarded?

If you're earning 130k a year at 25 you don't need to go to school, just keep doing what you're doing.

Go to a school in Texas where it's cheaper.

Yeah I guess I’m just worried someone would look at my resume when I apply for a more senior role, see “Chapman film” and think “lol nope” and throw it in the trash. I have name brand shit on my resume and currently work at TikTok but I’m still insecure

They won't, they'll see you as a "wonderkin", a super successful young person.

I'm 25 and I make 75k a year and im viewed very highly by senior people.

>> No.55045490

Yes it'd be retarded. Just like make a film.

You already made it. Just focus on making movies and building media connections. Youve already advanced too far into this career for school to make sense.

You went to Chapman? In Orange County? Fuck dude that is seriously elite. Unless you weaseled in with diversity bullshit.

No I way overperformed on gpa and SAT to get in. Idk about elite though. Yes, kids of celebrities and billionaires go there. My friend’s roommate’s family owned an NBA team and my other friend’s dad was a huge movie producer. But the general person who goes there is mentally retarded

Some of the best pussy I ever had was from Chapman
Are used to take all those cute little girls to the antique shops in that Cuban restaurant that used to have their great little place in Orange County for privileged, wealthy, tight, little white girls, some of the best years of my life

The Chapman area in orange county had such a great cozy vibe, some of the best years of my life. I think back about it fondly two pretty blonde 18 year olds, blowing me at once literally the best years of my life.

Yeah Chapman girls are known absolute fucking sluts and the guys are preppy frat boy douche bag types. It’s “elite” in that the average family income here is probably $200k+ with kids of billionaires and shit, but it’s for the kids that were too unfathomably retarded to get into USC (or not rich enough)

I’m still depressed by it. But yes, what a fun four years of plowing ass and living in Orange County. I loved it and I miss it, but Chapman doesn’t have a good name brand unfortunately

>picrel, some Chapman sluts I knew
