I had a youtube channel for over 10 years and am at 2.5k subs, but i dont really care for the grind. I know the ones who watch aren there cause i conned them.
I experimented with some literal brainrot tier channels and got a good amount on those, but i stopped them once i figured out how easy it is and how lifeless it is.

always changing but around 7K a month. the real blackpill is youtube doesn't pay a crazy amount unless your getting a million plus each video. You need 3rd party sponsorship. I make another 4k a month from my store too but that's a different thread.

Just make content you enjoy. I thought editing 4k footage was fun so I'd probably be doing this stuff in my spare time anyway. I still have a full time job so this is just a hobby.

That’s the reoccuring theme of Youtube as I see it. Channels with thousands of subs really did started years ago. Sure, there are exceptions where someone hits 50k in one month but they are super rare.
It’s one of those “city walks” type of channels?
I guess if someone where to start a channel now in your niche it would have to stand out since there’s lots of competition now. I don’t know, maybe do narration or something to give the channel some identity.
