Can confirm, work in projects at a major financial institution. Easily 75% of a project's budget is wasted on internal red tape overheads, broken testing environments, the worst devs, many working from the worst countries to 'keep cost down', and everyone is a turbonormie that is entirely obsessed with fags and all forms of 'diversity', with no semblance of energy or reason applied to anything when it comes to critically assessing the whims of execs.
Just a ton of small kingdoms infighting over meaningless corporate politics, driven by what an idiot exec thinks will make them look good end of year, and every 'success' called out massively misrepresenting the actual state of the product delivered. (Like maybe you say you went live, but it's to zero users because everything is so fucking bug infested)
