I used to have a friend who doesn't tip.
We both got pretty bad service one day.
I left a $1 tip and he left nothing.
Guess who had to call his someone the next day to cancel a $100 up-charge added to his meal.
Tipping is a little like buying protection against theft and harassment.
It's not ideal but it's the cost of doing business around dangerous people.
Always take your customer copy with you even if you just throw it away in the garbage outside.
Leaving it on the table is an invitation to be defrauded.
