99% of people would not be able to afford a home, the primary vehicle for generational wealth, without a loan, which requires credit.
So yes, credit = wealth.

That's a retarded idea because your assets would have to used to pay off as much of the debt as possible. You could try hiding it from the judge in court but then you would risk getting buttfucked for committing fraud.

It's all dandy until Jimmy the meth head steals your debit card and clears out your bank account. With credit cards, you have full protection and no loss of funds while the bank deals with it. On top of that it's very easy to get a credit card that gives you airline miles or cash back as a bonus.

428 and dropping

I overspent a lot during the pandemic to prep (mostly funz and PMs) and then I got fired from my job for not taking the jab, which basically led to 2 months of living off credit cards. This dropped my score in a year from 750 to 650. Then, while leaving my old state for a new one, I was involved in a car accident (not my fault) that totaled my car and required me taking out a loan for a new one. At this point my credit score fell under 630, which is the lowest bracket. After trying to pay the credit card debt down, I realized I was just draining my bank account every month trying to pay off interest, so in December I said "fuck it" and stopped paying them, hired a credit forgiveness company to negotiate on my behalf and ignore all calls from my creditors. I feel pretty based considering I don't plan on buying a house for a while anyway. Also, I'm in a class action suit against my former employer, so we'll see how that goes.
