the creator of the community has absolute control, he can assign mods and delete content. but it's not possible for anyone to delete someone else's community because it's fully P2P between the community owner's node and the peers nodes. the protocol is also text only, so there's no chance of download illegal content on your node by mistake

you can vote on what subs appear in the default subs in the app. there will be a feed entirely curated by the DAO. we will probably show balances as a special icon so your posts will have more visibility if you have a balance. there will probably be a very easy to set up challenge that looks at pleb balance and can bypass captchas if you hold a certain amount. plus whatever other utility we think of in the future. the goal is to be as integrated with the app as possible, while still being able to use the app without even needing to know that crypto exists, for people who dont know how to and just want to post.

You do realize that if your product does become successful, it will affect the incoming traffic to both this site and reddit. Reddit is valued at over 10b, and something that can threaten a Goliath like that will not do so easily.
Furthermore, you would put the current jannies/mods at risk of losing their "privileged" access due to less demand for them. That's going to be interesting to see how they will deal with that.
As is, this site is very likely to be monitored by glowies. So in terms of anonymity and freedom of speech? Throw that out the window. And for reddit? Well, almost everyone has been banned or had a post removed. Another space where freedom of speech is nonexistent.
What I'm saying is; you would cause a disruption, putting a target on your back.
How do you plan to deal with that? Especially with reddit.

the id is always visible in both modes because it's the user address (u/), but in the anon mode it will change in every thread just like on 4chan. There will be an option to disable the anon mode so the u/ is always the same (like it is now) and it can also be an ENS name, eg. u/plebeius.eth. I will add ENS name support by next month for this reason too, at first it will just be the regular u/addresses. Also for the record, boards have ENS names too, which means we created the first ever community NFTs. As a board (or subplebbit) becomes more popular, the ENS name for it will increase in value. ENS whales will love plebbit (and plebchan) for this reason.

Depends on the board you're on, some don't even have IDs, so I think it would cool to have an Anon-Mode (per post) and a Pseudo-Anon-Mode (per thread).
Also, boards like >>>/int/ have country flags as well.
