It's real money that can be converted back into fiat at anytime, and will not become worthless in the foreseeable future. We are not close to mining asteroids at all, and most of the gold/silver in the Earth's crusts has already been mined, and some lost at the bottom of the sea which is extremely costly to recover even with high-tech equipment like autonomous drone and submarines. Recall how little we know about what lurks in deep oceans.

Also, as a borderline autistic retard myself, I realized that stacking money requires earning fiat. If anything, it gave me a reason to be a productive member of society just to feed my coin collection hobby. If I play video games every day on top of my full-time job and studying for the CFA I'm not going to blame myself.

guys, I have a confession to make. I made this thread to poke fun at being a chud. I am actually a big silver and gold stacker, and I do truly believe we will have hyperinflation. During that period you will be able to buy woman as slaves for 1 oz of silver if the historical records are to be repeated.

While I highly doubt you'll be able to purchase a woman as a slave for 1 oz of silver (who'd enforce the contract?), the more fundamental question is why one would want to have slaves. Yes, we all know about the frustrations to do with women, but wouldn't it be better, in principle, if we just didn't have the perceived need for slavery?
