Everything you buy is trading your time for bullshit. How can people go into debt for a car willing trading over a year of their labor for it? What the fuck is wrong with everyone. They call me cheap but I can buy their car cash or I could not work for the entire year. That’s worth so much then a car

I like my car and it's not like I'm going to retire rich because I kept myself from enjoying it.
Collecting extra cash is worthless if, like me, you're a retard who can't use it to attain financial independence. Retiring with 300k instead of 280k makes absolutely no fucking different to me, I'd rather have my little car that I like.

As someone who finally decided to get a car at 32, how the fuck can you feel completely comfortable without your own personal method of transportation? You remain a slave to your immediate area, and public transit. A car is unironically one of the examples of things that are worth it.

A car can save you time, though.

A car is worth it, so is a house in many circumstances.

Never pay full price for a vehicle. In the US, all you need is a basic sedan like a Honda Civic. You don't even have to buy a new one. You can buy cars like picrel from craigslist that are in excellent condition at 1/4 the price of what you would pay at a dealership. In many countries, you don't even need a car at all.

Oops I posted a photo of a coupe and typed sedan in my post, but my point is that there is no reason to not have a car. This is literally all you need. You can get your vehicle for $4000 or less. Literally no reason to not have transportation in the US.

a 30-second Craigslist search in my city revealed this Honda Accord for $3,900. Let me guess, you need more?

Simple op. I like my car, my car makes me happy. It doesn't matter that i had to sell my 20k bag on peepo to buy it when i could've just waited two weeks and gotten a x15 on my money. The fack that i have my car makes me happy and it will keep being that way, i wouldn't change it for anything

most of your payment goes to equity when you buy used so effectively even if car loses a little bit of value its saving you hundreds of hours of biking
