Insider here. I think this actually requires a thread because marines have been waiting for so long now. I can't really tell you too much because Chainlink Labs employees actually lurk biz (and post here) so they might able to know who I am. There has been an unexpected temporary delay of CCIP due to the upgraded off-chain computation protocols (OCR 2.0) that had an unforeseen malfunction. However, the DONs seem to be fully online therefore the problem will be resolved quite rapidly.

In regards to SWIFT they actually seem to be keen on launching CCIP already by June. The main problem is that the network across EVM and non-EVM chains hasn't been fully tested to maximum capacity therefore releasing a product in such a short time would be quite a gamble for us. I can only tell you it will happen before august, that's a certainty.

Expect delays

As long as the spectrum of trust-minimization that validates the online state of DONs isn't malfunctioning it really shouldn't be a problem.

I really hope ChainlinkLabs focuses on the full security of the programmable token bridge, it has to have a computational power above the minimization levels or the network would risk getting 51% attacked thus making the node operators vulnerable.
