I just live at home and don't have to pay rent or food. I don't drink or really do anything that costs money.
I save 80% of my paycheck and the rest is spending money for little expenses and whatever else I want.
My coworker found out I don't have to pay rent and he was pretty jealous/surprised. His parents still rent and he has to help them out, I am pretty fortunate.

I honestly can't remember a time someone was genuinely happy for someone else. It's like that everywhere man, even I notice myself falling into that pitfall from time to time.
The worst part is, once you get that thing you were jealous of, you realize it wasn't worth it and you move onto another thing to be envious of.

I found a lot of success in reminding myself to be grateful for the little things in life that i have, many times I have taken for granted. but there is nothing i can do about others petty feelings so thats why i dont socialize much with people i think have those shortcomings, which a lot of ppl my age and younger do. its not easy finding someone that doesnt get jealous or doesnt act out of spite. maybe its the times or something people cant have always been this shitty.
