Simply put your worth as a human being is tied into your placement in this societal hierarchy, this view on people and society is most common amongst the left; the left went from being ideological aligned with executing the bourgeois in Cambodia and the likes, to worshipping the capitalistic structure and being the greatest reinforcer of this class capitalism.
