From a financial perspective, I would say the answer is NO. You CANNOT pay bills with discarded CAT HAIR or POOP. You CANNOT pay bills with your FRIENDSHIP with a furry 4-legged NPC. From a trying not to kys perspective, HOWEVERRRRR, it may be worth it.

I fucking hate dog niggers with everything. Cat people typically like both cats and dogs. Then there’s dog niggers who despise cats with everything they are. >A lot of dog owners are following a trend
This. I have friends who just NEED to own a dog. It's like some kind of accessory to their lives, like they feel they're not a complete household unless they have a dog or two. The sad thing is that most of them aren't even taking care of them properly; they leave them in the house all day, alone, or worse, locked outside in a kennel. Last house I lived in, I had at least 4 neighbors on the same road who had dogs outside in kennels almost 24/7. If i went out in my yard and made any kind of noise, they all started barking at me. It was annoying as fuck.

>>54944949
>it’s such a weird dynamic that cat people tend to like all animals including dogs but dog people get all up in arms about cats
Dogs are easier to subjugate; you can train them to be obedient, and if you don't train them, you can just lock them in a kennel and they'll deal with it and still love you. You can't really do either of those things to a cat, nor can you force the cat to give you affection, and some people are really offended by sharing their space with a creature they can't treat like shit and still get love from.

Yes. I was going to buy a cat but now I am going to do it after I get back from vacation. I like all kinds of animals but cats are the most cute. Dogs are nice too but they demand more time to be taken care off. Once I have a family or a larger house, I will get a doggo too.
