What do you think of these bars? I have one from last year, it has the queen on obverse side (Tokelau). Their 2023 bars & coins now instead have the Chad coat of arms. Kinda weird to have an african nation advocating for european culture, but I guess those are the days. O tempora! O mores!
Anyway I guess the bars are a better deal than the coins, by a little bit (not much though, just like 20 cents/oz, if I calculated right). But are bars a meme in europe? Does anyone buy these? I looked at the pages on numista.com, and looks like bars are only minted to 3000, but coins are 100k. But I already have quite a few silver coins, and just this one bar. Bars take up much less space, so that's a big plus, because I'm starting to run out of that.
Oh well, I just wanted ramble on. I also wish they tamped the spot price down more today. Not sure if I'll order this weekend or not, but the shop has their special that ends on Monday. Decisions, decisions...
