Whatever works for you, don't spend much on management fees, however. My bank account allows me to create virtual accounts so all my needs are covered.

>How many bank accounts should one have?
Zero. That's like asking how many thieves one should give his money to.

>B-but cash is stupid!
I never said you should use cash either.

>t-then how do you buy things?

Direct deposit your paycheck into a brokerage (Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, etc). Then automatically convert your cash into short-term T-Bills, in order to keep it away from theiving banks.

>b-but you can't buy things with T-bills???

Use a credit card for everything. Ensure your T-bills mature as soon as your credit card is due. Use your brokerage's bill-pay feature to pay off your credit card. Then roll the leftover cash back into T-bills. This is how you stop using cash. This is how you stop using banks. This is how you stop banks from gambling with your hard-earned money.

>tfw we trusted banks to keep our money safe from theives
>but the banks were the thieves all along
