A top 25 coin with reasonably high volume behaving like an algorithmic stablecoin for over a year in an open market makes zero fucking sense. Im not saying its a good or bad investment, I just want you to acknowledge that this is not natural. There is clearly fuckery afoot. I think both shills and fudders can agree on this.

The largest financial institution in Bulgaria got caught making a fake investment firm for the sole purpose of shitting on this token to make money on shorts. API3 lied about them at ETH india. Every giant in the crypto industry tries to skim off the top on every product they release CCTP, Binance POR, Coinbase oracle. Its like everything they do generates so much hype in the industry for everyone but themselves. Its one of the most astroturfed things i have ever seen on the internet. I still dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

The entire situation feels like some weird horror film. Its like everyone is standing around in this room and there is this massive, 8 foot tall fat man in a cage in the corner. When you ask people about him, they insist its just a small child and that there is no cage in the room. Then one day the beast in the cage escapes and fucking devours someone in the room, whole. You and 1 other guy look at the situation in sheer horror, but you notice everyone else in the room is just nonchalantly going about their business as if there isnt some eldritch monster in the room eating a person. You ask out loud “does anyone else see this?!?”, a few people ignore you, some pretend to have no idea what you are talking about, and two of them claim that they are the ones who ate the guy. Then when the beast is finished a few of them push him back into his cage and lock the door. A while later someone fires a few bullets at the beast in the cage who just absorbs them into his amorphous body with no reaction. You ask the guy why he shot the beast but he claims that he did not, and that its just a small child. Nobody else seems to acknowledge it happened either, except the one other person in the room who noticed him eat a guy. You ask that person what is going on and one of the other people in the room who overhears your conversation interrupts to call you both crazy. You look over and notice he is missing chunks from his body with obvious bite marks all over him. You ask him what happened and he again refuses to acknowledge anything is out of the ordinary. And it continues like this, day after day. Occasionally the beast escapes and eats another occupant of the room, and nobody seems to notice except you and the one other guy. Eventually you both become numb to this horrific semi regular occurrence, and you stop trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. Maybe its all a dream, maybe you are just hallucinating, but people keep disappearing from the room.

it isn't, where are you getting this? Coin360, Messari, Coingecko all put LINK outside the top 20, and CMC shows link at number 20 in terms of volume, so I guess according to CMC it is in the top 20 lol.
>don't count stables and the big boys, then it's top 10
no thanks, way too much of goalpost moving for me
anyway, I'm not even sure if this aggregated volume is even reliable at all, so if we look at the chinknance USDT pair which represents 12% of all the volume, you can clearly see the steady decline in volume, with LINK averaging 45m per week, and that's very fucking bad.
Useless dead shitcoins like DOGE, LTC, MATIC, SOL, XRP have consistently triple the volume of the LINK pairs across both chinknance and goybase, look it up.
As far as the other exchanges go, for all intents and purposes LINK is literally an illiquid shitcoin.

Its not sideways movement that is surprising, its the PERFECT stability. Any other chart has some variation, ChainLink is a perfectly flat line. ok my dude but I distinctly remember LINK trading around 80-100m of volume ever since the google announcement with the occasional explosion up to 500-800m on each leg up.
LINK in 2017-18 used to trade for peanuts, literally, it had something like 4m aggregated volume for a year and a half, and then it literally exploded and never looked back.
That is a drastic change from what we've been experiencing since 2021, the volume is literally making new lows every month across all pairs, while those other shitcoins I mentioned somehow manage to keep their volume throughout this bullshit bearcrab.

The project in question is my biggest hold and clearly to me the lynchpin of crypto. With holders who know it's importance and are autistically following development. The attacks on other tokens are more successful and receive less attention because less people get rekt and they don't have the same following. FTX was doing this to numerous tokens all through the bullrun and ran them into the ground. I think LINK has resisted so well because it's so important.
