They all use the same language so that most people will not be able to tell the difference. There are a number of reasons why their (similar) claims don't hold up. 1) Their partnerships are usually with other shitty blockchains and a few technology /software companies looking to experiment. I see few banks or real banking solutions, but there is just enough noise there to confuse the average person. If you compare this to XRP/ripple's actual usage and certifications... it isn't really a comparison. 2) the technology kind of sucks but it allows for glitzy bullshit. The bridging system chainlink creates is by its very nature just not that secure ... we can see this by the massive number of accounts that get drained, hacked, etc because of the bridging system it championed. Flare is decidedly better. They watched everything chainlink did, all the of the problems it had, and built a better system from the ground up. the backing system they are building seems like it will circumvent a lot of these problems. It uses the same consensus mechanism that XRP does, so I just don't see it competing well long term. 3) I see few if any real world solutions offered by Chainlink or its network of BS. All of the security problems aside, what can it actually do that a country would trust? Can a country trust that they are decentralized enough to actually run a CBDC on their network (don't even ask if its secure enough)? XRP was designed so that no country would be excluded. You might get excluded from Ripplenet, which is just a company, but XRP is free from that worry. Not so with chainlink (or algo, hedera, etc).

These are major hurdles that I believe their community is unable to see past. I would say the test that has been designed is pretty simple.
