lawn mowers run quiet if you swap out the blade with a blade 1" shorter.
if it's electric + shorter blade, people can't even hear you mow from indoors.

My mother puts her dogs out at 7AM and the fucking thing spends an hour barking at squirrels. I have no idea how she's not embarrassed.
I asked her to put it back in today because I wanted to sleep, and when she did another dog somewhere was barking for a few more minutes. I think my mother's dog made that dog antsy, so when her's stopped he also stopped and the neighborhood was quiet after that.
I love my mom, but one day someone is going to stab her dumbass and I might not feel that bad.
