and
>what does TPS mean
TLDR Litecoin handles almost 10x the transactions that Bitcoin does, on top of being faster in general and cheaper. 2.5m block time.

yes, so? Eth has already stolen that cake and a plethora of low fee copy cats weren't able to rival it. What makes you think that bitcoin wont have a similar fate then lets say boba and celo

There are already l2s on btc, why nobody uses them, I don't know. Also 9 hours is okayish during a mempool flood. Before segwit 12 hours during normal traffic was not unheard off

if bitcoin wanted to genocide ethereum, all it has to do is take any feature it likes and implement it.
there is a sword hanging over every single altcoin that will never go away.

ethereum's saving grace is that bitcoin has shown for many years it wants nothing to do with the on-chain casino market after satoshi dice.

>> No.54825096

your choice. do you think that powell will do something unhinged tomorrow, that congress wont increase the debt ceiling and that the USJew is just watching its banking system and with it its key actor for its hegemony crash? If not yes.

>> No.54825178

>>54825094
satoshi dice, nearly forgot about that one, still on bch.
>if bitcoin wanted to genocide ethereum, all it has to do is take any feature it likes and implement it.
who is going to implement it, who is going to convince all the liquidity that bet on eth to switch to btc, who is going to convince the miners to adopt it. btc has its place, and I am sure its going to go that way, but I don't think its ever able to go rival eth in that niche. Eth built and innovated, took risk after the crypto kitties inicdent, btc put its tail between its leg and refused to take risk

>> No.54825340

>>54825178
who? the developers who have been trying to get smart contracts on bitcoin in all the wrong ways for the better part of a decade.
liquidity? trivially, and quickly.

bitcoin is safe, stable, and long term, but if for any reason it's long term health and superiority is threatened it can with one swift movement gut most of the altcoin market overnight.
it simply doesn't need to, there is no existential threat and bitcoin users, investors, and fanboys are comfortable.

be worried when they're not.

>> No.54825490

the liquidity on btc already and mercenary capital maybe

only that's exactly what happened with every single other sc platform when the bear market took hold and fees went back down on ethereum

liquidity moves fast, especially upstream to safer, longer-term platforms.
ethereum has a moat only against other alts, if you think any different you really don't understand the demand for the only hard, neutral asset in the entire market to have the only other non-payment utility we've found value in over the past decade.
