You profit from it by investing money and training in AI software and hardware. One thing people seem to grossly misunderstand is that you still need someone supervising the AI for white collar jobs. In white collar world hard work != profit, so nobody cares if you're spending hours on spreadsheets or have an automated python script that does it for you. Most employees are awarded for finding ways to make things faster. With things like accounting, risk management, engineering, ect., AI will rapidly speed up their work but it's very dangerous to let it replace it entirely so it won't.

In blue collar/wagie world, their jobs aren't at all intellectually challenging nor do they actually affect the business (e.g. hard labor, cashiers, call centers, schedulers, truckers, etc.). These people are looked at more as liabilities than profit earners. These are the jobs that AI will completely automate because either the AI fucks up and it really doesn't mean anything in the grand scope of things or there is way less grey area in the job so AI is better suited to do it.

Everyone who thinks this is the white collar day of reckoning is a fucking retard, it's what they want to believe not what reality actually is.
