I know that normies don't know how revolutionary UE5 tier tech is going to be for games. The consensus isn't clued into how fast tech in gaming has changed in the past few years and those next-gen games haven't been announced yet. See you're not clued in either. They've done some pretty mind blowing stuff there, download it and play around with it. They've found a way to make fake raytracing work on non-RTX cards, it's basically some emulated non-RT bullshit but it looks like it's 90% there and it doesn't require any input on developer's side. Devs JUST make RT lighting, UE creates this fake non-RT out of it for older GPUs, but it's still not baked or anything, it doesn't have any limitations of non-RT lighting. Point is all games from now all will be RT native and they won't have to be held back by older GPUs like they are now and normies don't understand how much this will change because they don't understand what RT native games look like, they still think RT is a meme since it wasn't done natively yet on a big scale.
