Cryptocurrency is all about freedom. When you hold cryptocurrency in your wallet, you’re free to ‘be your own bank’. Cryptocurrency and decentralized applications supply (and even incentivize) many more outlets and definitions of ‘freedom’ than any industry known to mankind.
