I'm 35, completely burned out from wageslaving and have about 750k. How long can I live off this without working?

This.
You CAN live in the US with this much, but you'll eventually be working again, but not so much for the income but rather staving off boredom and suicide.

if you are smart you can live all your life with 750k just think of ways to invest with good ROI and reasonable risk.

Is that liquid? You can put it in an extremely low risk money market fund yielding about 4.5% right now, which would be 30 something grand to live off of a year. I'm all ears if anyone has better passive income ideas outside of the normal dividend stock shit, etc.

If you go to Thailand or the Philippines, you could live for centuries off of that money, especially if it's invested.

Because you'll eventually get that bored/suicidal if you don't have anything to do that will engage your mind. Having a good hobby is a great way to solve that issue though

Stock is a good alternative.
Aside from this, we have ETFs, mutual funds, index funds, bonds, and also RWA crypto projects like the ones that seamlessly integrate real-world business revenues into their crypto ecosystem. NFE on Polygon is one that utilizes this model. Anyway, it all depends on which has the lowest possible risk and a better return.
Which stock do you recommend?

This area is never an option. Everyone wants a luxurious life in a well-developed area. Such a low mindset. You should have suggested India or ... Kekek.

Take a year or two or three off. Travel, cheaply. Do things you always wanted to do. When you're ready, re-enter the workforce. Taking a break from work is not a big deal nowadays. Just have health insurance coverage, if you're in the US.

Everywhere has good and bad neighborhoods. $750k is enough to be able to afford living there.

No doubt, but suggesting those places is like sending him to the trench. You can't compare Dubai to these places. Why not suggest an African country for him to stay and have a luxurious life? Keke
NPC

This is not what Anon wants to know. The poor retard is concerned about passive income.

keep 50k in a debt account for emergencies and throw the other 700k in an index fund. average returns top out at 10% per year over a long period of time. your return will get chipped it by inflation which has averaged 3.8% per year over the last 6 decades. this leaves you with approximately $30k USD per year in capital gains income. pair this with a low-stakes wagie job at ONE eight-hour shift per week and assuming the minimum wage where you are is $15/hr, that's an extra 5-6k pre-tax.

keeping your income this low allows you to qualify for SNAP and Medicaid. SNAP itself is $300/mo and Medicaid is comparable to a $20k/yr health plan. all in all, your "total" yearly "income" will be approximately $60k USD.

assuming rent in your area is $2k/mo for a studio, that leaves you with $1k/mo to spend on shit. oh yeah, with your income that low, you'll also qualify for a major reduction in utility bills (internet, gas, water, electricity).
