But the vast majority of people are in your exact same scenario

In fact, it's what keeps the country going - the fact that people cannot ever escape the rat race keeps them spending, keeps them never saving, keeps them ultimately on the hamster wheel

Eventually your body is going to give out somewhere and you'll be royally screwed

Somehow you have to make a drastic measure to significantly lower your rent

no it is not. I seriously urge you to find a cheaper place to rent. If it's not feasible with your job, change jobs. With 65% on rent and most likely at least 25% on bills/food/other expenses you will never escape the rat race only saving 10%.

I make more than 90% of the people on the planet, I have 10k in the bank, 5k in cash, 10k in pms and 14k in stock and crypto but I still feel poor and that my actions matter less and less with each passing day. I am trying to get a better job...I've been asking too high a salary in the past so I've dropped it a bit and am getting more attention now. If I can get it it'll be a 40% increase
