It's necessary and expected to lie on your resume nowadays. If you don't lie, you will not get an interview. That's how it works

Fake it till you make it bro. Or like the other anon said, use this job to get a promotion once you're there long enough.

Be literally the nicest and coolest guy you can be. Talk to everyone you can when in the office and make everyone like you. It’s harder to fire or lay off people that other people in the office like since it destroys morale. Also make sure you do the actual job to the best of your abilities and ask a lot of questions to make yourself seem interested in the role and trying to improve on it

I fibbed on what the start date was for my previous work of employment, they’re gonna do a background check on me so I adjusted what my time was, haven’t gotten the offer letter yet. Any bros been in the same situation? It’s for a large corp. the difference in start date is 2 months but I made it seem like I’ve been at my current job a year when in reality it’s been nearly 11 months

Hell considering that it wasn't long ago companies were paying you to even interview I don't think they'll dig to far long as you don't fuck up to much.

This is true.

Firing popular employees is always a cost-benefit risk analysis on management's part, because they can easily spook the less confident employees into looking around at their other options, and they could easily cause all the friends of the guy you fired to turn against the company and plan their own exits, and then before they know it half their critical staff is gone.

I've seen it happen at several companies now. Never pretty.
