I thought the whole point of crypto was too be free from surveillance and red tape?

I just wanted to sell some bullshit NFTs, then with my make believe money I could buy some make believe credit at like Wal-Mart or something with a gift card and buy some of their yummy spicy fried chicken.

Well, that's not so easy as there isn't a direct "just order something online and send us your crypto wallet code and if it accepts the charges, you're good for it"

I could order a crypto card, but for that matter why aren't I just using a normal debit or credit card from a reputable bank? This is stupid. And it's not the idea of crypto itself that's the problem, it's how everyone is going about it.

I just wanna be able to buy my God damn spicy chicken without having to go through hoops of having a bank account. I am a man, not a corporate entity. When I wanna be a corporate entity ill do the song and dance of advertising myself and marketing my gay little NFTs.
