Today I paid $850CAD for a final total 51.756oz of silver. The sneaky oriental tried to cheat me so my scamming was justified in the end. Thank you God. google earth probably has enough resolution to give you good coordinates to file.
Getting the range and township right is going to be the main thing
If someone takes you to court and sues you for the claim, the court isn't going to go by where the stakes are because stakes can be moved. They're going to go by the coordinates you filed with the BLM. So you want your soapstone to fall inside those coordinates.
If you need to you can file multiple claims next to each other, but that gets expensive if a single claim will do.

Thankfully the vein strikes roughly north/south in the middle of a rectangular section I can line right up to the survey grid so I think the description of the coordinates will be relatively simple, it's the staking that made me anxious. Correct. I looked into buying a trailer park years ago. The trailers themselves are classified like RVs so the loans for them are essentially car loans with higher rates. Some trailer parks purchase new trailers and do in house financing with clauses like if the tennent misses 3 consecutive payments they forfeit all previously paid principal and face eviction. It's quite the racket and some scummier trailer parks will just do rent to own or balloon payments on older trailers in addition to the lot rent, so if you're poor and have bad credit, you could easily be paying $1k in trailer rental + lot rental to live in a trailer that's worth about $4k lol. Just like car sales and other industries, you'll always make bigger margins on poor people and people bad with money.
