About 2.5years, blew like 15+ accounts lost 65k. I kept making huge mistake increasing size or not cutting losses when trend changed. Tip TA is the easy part disipcline & controlling risk management was the hardest for me.

Unironically this did it for me, in forex. Leveraged down my trades and upped my frequency of trades… in other words, bet less but more often. Win the game with walks and singles, don’t swing for the home run every time. In this low volatility forex market I shoot for 30 or 40 dollar profit per trade, keeping 10-25 trades open at most times. Works for me, has been for years now.

I always have the most most success taking small profits. E.g. while trading a shitcoin, try to get in a swing trade, take your 25% profits, get the fuck out. No need for a x10. Whatever profit I get just turn it into eth/btc and let it sit.

For me it was two things:
1. Dont try to swing at every pitch and constantly make things happen. Even today when I start to get kind of bored I may open a trade in an area I normally dont, and my odds of success go way down.
2. Dont fucking listen to influencers, or other idiots. You've got to get your own feel for the market and thesis, spend a lot of time observing and checking things, and then you'll still be wrong a lot of the time.
