Litecoin is based because you can get it anywhere and move it for low fees. If I want to but crypto, I usually just get LTC from robinhood and move it to kucoin etc for 0.01$. If I could buy something even cheaper like xlm, xrp, ada, algo etc I would but no exchange has those. Everyone has btc, ltc and eth.
