I have never once in my life used a stop loss and to be quite honest, I dont see the point. When I buy, I am buying the local bottom, and usually not holding for more than a day when trading ETFs like kold and boil. I know when the bottom is in because if youve done your research it should be clear as day. Boil has dropped about 10 cents on me from my buy in a couple times, but always rebounded and netted a profit. If I had a stop loss, id have lost money, rather than just holding it and letting it go back up.
