If you're allowed to lived anywhere in the world while getting a US/European wage, why bother staying? You can literally save thousands a month just by moving to a different country

still have to pay US taxes. If you rescind your US citizenship, you will placed on a list for the rest of your life and will ALWAYS be tracked when traveling to and from the US. It's crazy that it's been allowed to get to this point but it's here. Unironically, the dream is for DB Cooper to come back and destroy the vile heart of America and remake America in his vision.

Thailand isn't exactly the best place to work remotely for a company, at least legally. It's a pain in the ass to do business here so it's unlikely your company would allow it unless they already have a presence here, but then you'd be stuck living in Bangkok like a cuck.

You could of course just not tell them and use VPNs which a lot of people do, but then you'd be stuck working during the night time here. The best option is to have some steady income stream or own your own internet business. The way visas work here, you need a work permit which is very hard to get. However, they allow you to bring over retirement income, meaning as long as the money has been sitting overseas for at least a year you are allowed to bring it over without it being considered income from working. Not like anyone would check that anyway.

You have to FILE, not necessarily pay. And if you're making US wages with a US job and living in the third world you can absolutely afford it.

Actually ya know what, no, it's awful, stay in America and pay $5000/month for an apartment I hate it here so much!!!!

I haven't made it but I have enough to live for years in Thailand or some place similar and wait for another bullrun, I figure it's better than pinching pennies in america. What do you spend you're time doing? What do your days look like? Are you living frugally? What's your monthly budget and whats the minimum monthly budget for someone out there? Are border runs still needed or are there better visas I should look into? I wouldn't be working, only income would be from trading so I don't think I'd qualify for a work visa and Im not old enough for the retirement visa. I'm looking at Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and hua hin.

>What do you spend your time doing?
Whatever the fuck I want
>What do your days look like?
Not much different then what I did in America, just much cheaper
>Are you living frugally?
Nope
>What's your monthly budget
Don't have a budget but I only spend like $2-3k/mo all included, and I get food delivery for every single meal.
>What's the minimum monthly budget
You can live in a tiny condos for like $200/mo or less but that's not a live worth living. Decent size houses rent for $500-700/mo where I am. You could live on a couple hundred a month here, but again you'll be living like a bug
>What visa
I have the elite visa, depending on the exchange rate it costs like $15-18k for 5 years, or about $300/mo. After 5 years you can extend it to 20 years for about 400k baht iirc.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of going and budgeting for somewhere between 700 and 1k a month at first. My goal is pretty much where you're at. 2 to 3k a month in SEA or someplace with a similar CoL but I need another bullrun. Anyway, thanks anon
