I believe in the 4 year cycle theory for bitcoin and the market in general. Imo, a cycle begin with a halving and lasts 4 years until the next one. Each cycle is typically
a. 1.5 years up
b. 1 year down
c. 1.5 years sideways, chop, but generally slowly up
I think we're in "c" right now, and I expect this year to have some chop, meaning BTC back in the mid to low 20ks, and alts following suit.

The next cycle begins next year and will probably go on for a year and a half. I plan on exiting crypto q4 of 2025.

Understandable. But you could put your energy to much better uses nowadays... Do some kind of airdrop on zkSync, I was thinkin of doing one to all users that have bridged so far and see what happens. You can use chatgpt to tell you how to do the airdrop, make a discord channel, make a twitter and tweet etc. theres no barriers with this shit now. All you need is some drive and energy which it looks like you have

I had a hard time last bear market, and I feel bad for the newfags. Happy to hear I've helped out. Since I began I've been genuinely surprised that oldfags don't help out more. Doesn't cost me anything to lay out your seasoned thoughts, and in fact I get a clearer understanding by explaining them...basically stress testing them. It could also just be that nobody actually knows what the fuck they're doing. I watched a few whale wallets over the bear market last year, and I can tell you that at least these whales had no inside knowledge nor any deep understanding of the market. They made dumb mistakes like everyone else and lost 80-90% of what they had.

I stopped making the weekly charts because hardly anyone responded. Maybe that's why oldfags don't help.

Nothing interesting about May. More like sell in September and go play with your member. Imo, the second half of the year will probably see a major leg down, but no new lows. I'm guessing BTC at 20-25k.

Okay, that's vague. Crypto and most risk on assets usually dump in May through summer and then rebounds in October when the whales return from their cottages and yachts.
You see Bitcoin pumping towards autumn?

Yeah it is and I'm tired of reddit "correlation doesn't imply causation" faggots saying otherwise. Making predictions about the future based on the past is the foundation of science. That's not to say that it's a great foundation, as Hume pointed out with the problem of induction, but it's as good as it gets. Fundamentals can't help you trade, and unless you want to trade moon phases, all you got is past performance. Look at price action from the past, derive some common patters that work more often than not, work out a risk strategy, and then trade.

Completely aligns with what i see. one more test / catalyst / trigger around end of this year right before halving, then a strong sideways/slowup sleeper creeper, until the big pop up. hopefully it does a huge wick up to 200k one can dream, depends how much momentum the institutions build and when they decide to start fudding

I'm seeing a few accounts that seem to be relatively experienced suggest something like pic related where we are still technically in the last bull cycle and will see one more wave of pumping this year concluding in a parabolic blow off top and then the actual extended bear will begin. Ironically they seem to also have September/October as the peak but don't think it will dip much in between. It will be sudden to leave retail behind as much as possible.

Thoughts? Most people absolutely hate the idea and attack them fervently so it kind of makes me think there is merit here. Kek

That sounds like an imaginative version of the usual "this time it's different" cope.
Until the usual 4 year cycle is actually invalidated, it's absurd to just assume with 0 evidence that this time it will be different.
