While that works, with our new information that would also mean that for the price of miniscule price discovery you give your DRSd shares into DTCs hands. I think it’s definitely too soon for anyone to say for certain, but it’s possible. As people run out of savings over time, there may be an increasing number of people who opt into recurring investment after deciding they can only put aside a certain amount each month. If anything, the pushback this is getting makes me think that guy is right. At most, it’s 100k shares sold, which is basically nothing, and of course that money is probably going to be put right back into CS in the form of whole shares. The solution to this whole thing is very simple. Book your shit, buy through broker, transfer whole shares to CS. Maybe it’s fucking pointless, but I don’t see any sense in not finding out. Basically the same way I felt about book to begin with, and that got a lot of pushback too.

Alright fagets I finally learned how to sell. It's not very straightforward to sell fractionals, unless you're simply terminating a reinvestment plan. This is what you do (feel free to spread to Cringemines):
1. In the Holdings page, click "View Details", then select the "Actions" menu on the right of the Holdings with a "Plan Holdings" as its Share Type.
2. Take note of the amount of the fractional share.
3. Click "Sell."
4. Confirm your Pre-Sell Details.
5. On the next page, click "Select share lots."
6. You have to do a little math. Select the share lot(s) the sum of which will represent the value from step 2.
7. Select your Sell order type.
8. Confirm, type at the box on the bottom of the page.
9. ???
10. Roundhouse kick a hedgie in the head, financially speaking.
