I hold some because it’s exactly what crypto was supposed to be: an alternative form of payment two people can use in exchange for whatever in a private transaction. Not that I ever plan to use it for that specific purpose, but you can just take a look at the overall market sentiment and see normies are flocking to crypto again because of how unstable fiat has proven to be. The only advantage BTC still has over XMR is greater liquidity. But given how Bitcoin abandonment is now all the rage in the black market, its just a matter of time until Monero's liquidity improves to the point narco cartels make the full switch.
