It's once again a good idea to take a good long hard look at any Africa based mining investments, especially near these shitshow countries.
It's a total coin flip whether unrest like this spreads to neighboring nations, if some rebel group gets into power and starts chimping out at their neighbors.
Stuff is going to get really precarious now that there's a massive rush to gain foothold in Africa by both the West and the East.
You can bet that both sides are funding the hell out of their own interest serving groups over there and will try to destabilize nations where one major power has gained favor with the state.
It really seems like the only sensible places to invest in are US and Canada.

Everyone has seen silver 'pump' thousands of times by now and realizes it doesn't mean anything.
Everyone has seen people get super excited when line go up and super excited when line go down, and they realize it doesn't matter.
Everyone is looking for life-changing gains, and they know if they didn't get them when silver went from $19 to $35 they're not going to get them below that level either.
By now the smart money has realized miners don't really track the price of silver directly, and you're going to need a very large, sustained boom to see miners do anything.
Some people have probably realized we're already in the middle or near the end of the bull run, and this may be as good as it gets in their lifetime.
Most of this thread seems to have moved on from silver anyways. Probably a lot of them have done enough research by now to know the bull case for silver is mostly either bullshit, or if they still believe it, think that the price will be suppressed indefinitely. The only legit reason for buying silver- it's cheaper than gold- doesn't matter much in stocks since you can buy gold miners almost as cheap as silver ones. And often they're the same miners anyways.

also people probably working on weekdays and getting drunk and bullshitting on weekends.
