Two ways off the top of my head; get a credit builder credit card. Typically this card will have very low credit limit. The other is getting a loan and having someone w/good credit co-sign it. The downside with a co-signed loan is if you fail to pay it off or miss any payments then your fuck up reflects on whoever co-signed your loan. You can trash their score and they're on the hook for your fuckup. So only do this if your damn sure you can pay it off.

Look for a credit card that has no annual fee. Even better if you can find one that offers 1.5%+ cash back. Spend it on something small like gas or groceries every month and set up auto-pay to pay your balance when it's due each month. You'll never be charged interest if you do this and it'll build up your credit score.

You don't need to pay it off immediately after the transaction posts. You have like a month before any interest starts to accrue. Just set up autopay and you'll be good.

What’s your current bank? Get a credit card from them with a 500 dollar credit limit. You don’t need anything extravagant if you’re just starting to build credit. Once you hit a credit score of like 750, THEN you can look for a bussin credit card. Preferably from American Express.

Look up the pros and cons of credit unions, then decide if it’s right fo u. I have Bank of America and never had a prob with them. If you end up getting an account with those bigger banks, check if they have a lot of branches around your city. Like I know chase is big in Chicago, but where I live, we only have like 2 of 3 chases.

Global thermonuclear redpill: A credit score quantifies your profitability to lenders, i.e. how good of a "paypig" you are. If you pay a lot of money to your lenders (interest, monthly fees, etc.) your credit score will go up. When you take out a big loan and keep it for a little while, your credit score goes up. But it goes down if you get out of the loan completely. Why? Nobody's making interest on it anymore.

I'm 800+ and I hate the whole idea of a credit score, it's revolting. When you hear someone bragging about their credit score, remember they're the best paypig and they're proud of it.

Credit card and utilities (including cell phone) in your name. You don't have to hold a balance on the card. It's still positive for your goy score if you pay it off every month.
