There's this thing called a W8-BEN form, that basically states that you don't have to pay taxes to the US as a non-US resident because between the US and (insert country) there's a double taxation agreement.
If there's no agreement between the US and your country then yes, you have to pay taxes.

Don't take what I wrote for granted because idk, all I know is that I don't need to pax taxes to the US. Just get yourself an accountant.

That portfolio isn't too bad but I have some criticism. Costco is a pretty tame play but not bad might want to run some numbers to see if they are at a fair value. PG is a dividend machine so thats real good, I have no complaints there and would put them up with JNJ abbvie or phizer. Coca cola and dr pepper together is taking up precious real estate, pick the one you think is stronger. Same with GM and toyota, find the more undervalued choice with better capex runway and think about what your goals need, dividend growth, or capital appreciation. O is an income stock, not sure of your strategy but I would accumulate and grow in other stocks in a tax haven like a roth or traditional IRA then use O as income in old age. After making cuts I would go deep into researching emerging small caps in overlooked tech areas. My thoughts on that are stuff like gogoro, xometry, and markedforge holdings, but be careful and perhaps wait and DCA while keeping tabs on their quarterly earnings guidances and if they beat or miss earnings.

Yeah, anyone that's paid any attention to Amazon's and Twitch's bullshit for the last few years can see the writing on the wall. WING has a big problem, among a few other problems. They pay a huge portion of their Free Cash Flow out as dividends. Serial dividend overpayers.

Other big issue is that they admit in their own 10-K that they are a slave to the volatility of chicken wing prices. Meaning, they have huge COGS volatility. Uh oh. They are beneficiaries of chicken wing prices going down (which widens their margins).

But what happens when chicken wing prices go back up.

What is the opposite of the word "beneficiary".

>Anything besides
Watch pacb price action and try to find a good entrypoint. It's a long-term play but their product has the potential to revolutionize sequencing. Another to watch out for is oxford nanopore (LON:ONT, recently started trading on otc as ONTFF), which is even more interesting and currently has better accuracy than pacb. They're both potential acquisition plays or disruption plays, but they're early and very unprofitable right now, therefore quite risky. I personally balance them with an ILMN position.

It's the fact that WING, at 115x EPS and 15x revenues, had company store comps of only 4% in the 3Q. The epic collapse in wing prices(down 43%) is doing all the heavy lifting here.

What happens if wing prices go back up?

That's called COGS volatility. It's not that good for WING.

“[W]e’re looking at what’s happening among the banks and asking, is there going to be some tightening in credit conditions?” Powell said at the Mar. 22 press conference. “We’re thinking about that as effectively doing the same thing that rate hikes do. So, in a way, that substitutes for rate hikes,” he added.

Recent data, however, showed that tightening of lending conditions has been less severe than many had feared.

“Overall, data on money market fund inflows, Fed lending and bank balance sheets show tentative signs of stabilization relative to a few weeks ago, but certainly do not give the ‘all-clear’ just yet,” Goldman Sachs said in a recent note.

Financial murder is the only art a Fed Chair may practice. No ornamental words can change that. You want to protect people with your monetary policy? You'll slaughter legions so that a few may live. Many years, long before you were born, my sword was tearing asunder the portfolios of men. Yes, all of those men were evil, but they were human beings first and foremost, Kashkari. The world you ardently desire to enter will not know what to do with you. It will deceive you into believing that you are saving lives even as you destroy them. You will accept these lies all the while, your hands will be stained with the worst of offenses.

YEAH AND GUESSWHAT NO ONE IN THIS THREAD WILL LISTEN TO ME BUT WINGSTOP HAS MINIMAL REIT EXPOSURE BECAUSE THEIR AVERAGE FRANCHISE SQUARE FOOTAGE IS TINY.

>In WING's 10K, they mention that their locations can be found in a variety of areas because the mean size is only 1700 sq ft.
>This is also important because rents are usually the largest capital costs that a restaurant incurs

Pic. Related. I told you. I warned you. WING's minimal REIT exposure is bullish right now but will be bearish eventually against comps.
