This, it started off with a variety of 7-figure marketcap gems in January/February when GME happened and the board exploded. Then it devolved into literally thousands of threads about Shib and Inu ripoff coins by April and May when it all came crashing down. If you had guts you could make a lot of money, but every other shitcoin was a rugpull. I can definitely say the board isn't the same now as it is back then, alt-wise.

There were people on both sides. Someone said youre going to feel really stupid in a few weeks for not selling and Im like yea okay LTC is at 50$ over its former ATH clearly alts have a long way to go. It was a weak cycle. If you look at the crypto charts it starts to level off flat. Its calculated itl go 100k, 500k, a million super ez pz but in reality Bitcoin itself has very little left to go and its largely capped out. The reason I got into LTC is because I predicted back in 2017 that BTC was slow, expensive, couldnt scale and would eventually be replaced. A weak cycle for BTC and everything else is just normies slowly figuring out that alts are where the gains are. Simply comparing market caps and transferring the current value of BTC over to superior top 10 coins suggests exponential growth in the likely scenario that Bitcoin ceases to be #1 for it being obsolete.
The question becomes when people abandon Bitcoin and adopt another currency coin, what coin will that be. The answer is the coin which has always been faster, cheaper, and sold in all the ATMs beside Bitcoin. It has the first to market advantages, its accepted as a payment anywhere Visa is. Amazon, Paypal etc. What network are people actually already using, right now to pay for things.
I predict another weak cycle and I predict it will cause Eth to flip BTC first, and then BTC to continue to fall down the ranks below BNB, and LTC to make up the gap for all the currency coin uses since Eth costs like 20$ a transaction and cannot be used as a currency.

A buffet of options. You had many more ways to get returns on investments because more money was being tossed into it. Some was from the COVID stimulus, but we were also recovering from the first set of lockdowns.
The problem was people got too much. The returns were insane, some people used older forms of AI to get even more money, and the investments themselves were a mess.
