>The last resort in an attempt to collect overdue money owed to a property owners' association is an assessment lien. A property owners' association can foreclose on the lien and trigger the sale of the property.
https://guides.sll.texas.gov/property-owners-associations/assessments-foreclosure
> For residents who are late on dues or who ignore fines, homeowners’ associations can place liens on the home, and even foreclose on those liens. This foreclosure can occur even if you are current on your mortgage payments, so it is important for owners to keep up with their HOA dues.

>Under state law, HOAs can initiate foreclosure proceedings against homeowners who owe money to them, and their actions aren’t subject to any oversight from regulatory agencies.

>"The HOA can file a claim of lien for the failure to pay fees or assessments," she says. Depending on your state's laws, "it may also file a claim for unpaid fines equal to $1,000 or more. This is due to your non-compliance with the HOA's governing documents."

After having a baby this year i cant even look at cases like this and see pictures. It’s physically revolting that someone would harm a little child. It was repulsive before but now it lights an anger and rage within like nothing else i ever felt. We are way too light on crimes like this.

El Salvador apparently has no property tax. Same as Monaco and some other places.
Of all the taxes (income, sales, capital gains) land tax makes the most sense as it's being defended by the national military for you.

I had a rental property where the association was responsible for the roof. It leaked damaging the interior and they refused to fix it. I stopped paying dues when they stopped returning calls. Flash forward they put a lien on the property and have me served. I then threaten to sue the board and association who blame the old property management people for dropping the ball. I pay my back dues without any interest and they pay for a new roof and to fix the interior damage. Not only are they willing to take your property away for measly amounts of money, they are all run by morons.

Imagine thinking the property tax isn't part of the cost of your rent.
>>have to pay home owner's association fees or they can forclose on you
Imagine living in a neighborhood with no HOA. A pack of niggers and rednecks move in. They never cut their lawn. They keep old broken cars out in the yard. The house is falling apart and it's detracting from your home value and there's nothing you can do about it.
Even with property tax, HOA, and my mortgage, my home is still $1000 less a month than it would cost to rent in that same area.
Rentoid cope threads are always so transparent. You missed the boat and you're priced out forever. Come to terms with it.

My property tax is $18K a year. Do you think it was calculated fairly and that the money will be used wisely? Or do you think it was calculated based on inflated property values thanks to realtor associations, banks and the county/state or are more than happy to see that higher number regardless?

It's not the amount. It's the fact that you don't really own it if you need to pay tax on owning it or it's taken away.
