Utility from paying for gas is a meme and doesn't have legs long term desu. Coins value should come from scarcity.

That's why i think BTC is the best one, Ethereum economic look decent in the short term but it's inherently combative against actually trying to scale (Something BTC doesn't even need to do), So a better way to make ETH scarce should be found.

BTC is horrible at it's usecase though.
It's slow and expensive. Really it's going to be XRP and XLM.
Cheap and fast and designed to take advantage of what an e-currency should be.
It actually benefits everyone that uses it. BTC only benefits people that dump on other people.

Ripple or Stellar Foundation aside...they don't make any money if you simply use their tech for payments and it actually benefits the person paying AND the person getting paid.

It'll never be either, they're just unknown to average normies. Everyone at least knows about either BTC or Dogecoin.

Link is going to be the most valuable network and token in crypto in the long term, it's hilarious how many people in the space sleeps on it

The L1 space is a race to near zero fees and it's likely to be a very saturated market with many different chains being used (hello CCIP), most forward looking long term investors already realize that the value is unlikely to be concentrated in L1 or L2, I have friends that study/work in crypto academia who are also obviously very interesting in investing and long term value proposition and they talk about chainlink a lot. Chainlink's services are already scalable and their economics 2.0 is really showing early promise with BUILD and SCALE

Link is essentially a SaaS provider and hence can charge what it wants for it's service which it is starting to do, i.e there's lots of value potential in the network. Chainlink already has an impeccable security reputation and dominates the crypto service market and has successfully bootstrapped the network (hard to do), they have a large runway for development and have one of the best teams in crypto. If you've been fudded out of Link then you're going to miss out, it will surprise soon

1: Efficiency: A single hedera transaction costs an order of magnitude less energy than a visa transaction, to say nothing of how much more energy efficient it is than bitcoin.

2: Utility: Corporations have usecases that have nothing to do with crypto running on it. The new coupons standard has started to be rolled out on it - Proctor and Gamble are have some product lines where the coupons run on it in an Atlanta regional chain called Food Depot. There's also product tracking with Atma.io which has been consistently pushing over 500 transactions per second for months.

3: Speed: Transactions reach finality in about 5 seconds, currently. Once imputed, transactions can't be rolled back, double spent, and the network can't be forked.

4: Decentralization Scheme: Currently all of the nodes are held by council members - including Dell, IBM, Google, LG, Avery Dennison, Ubisoft - but part of the decentralization plan will be to allow permissionless nodes to be created and ran by anyone.

5: Prophetic visions of a hellish future: In my dreams I can see it, every breath logged into the hashgraph, every step taken, every twitch of the eye, every thought - each one timestamped and processed through the directed acyclic graph. Ultimate tracking and control of populations, the cattle of the world treated with the kind of contempt only reserved for the dullest of farm animals. You will be the product, your very essence turned into fuel, so that the basilisk at the end of time can have a perfect replica of you to play with and torture at its leisure.

6: Stable, Low cost of transactions: The vast majority of transactions will be crypto transfers, consensus messages, or token services. Each of these cost less than a sent and are denominated in USD, so you will never have to worry about large fees. This allows businesses to be able to predictably price out how much they'll need to spend on this service.

Hope that helps!

This is probably the worst thing I've ever seen. 100 years from now when I'm dying on a hospital bed and I'm asked what my biggest regret was it will be that I turned on my internet and scrolled through the internet on that fateful day... I will never be able to recover from this. No amount of therapy will save me. No amount of prescription pills will let me recover. I am a shell. This memory is so bad my brain is physically rejecting it and now I have a headache every time I think about it. Why did you post this, thinking it was a good idea? You've permanently ruined my life because of this, I hope you're happy. I hope that one day this gets branded as a war crime and you get hauled off to prison, never to see the light of day again. The fact that you're already not in a psych ward for insanity is so baffling I have lost all faith in every kind of justice system. If you subscribe to any religion, you'd best spend the rest of your time atoning for this ultimate sin. Have a terrible day, I hope this creation of yours haunts you in your dreams.

Normies are ahead of the game. Nothing really has utility, and the price for gas coins is mostly based on speculation, not utility.

Utility is a meme to justify valuation, just like everything else. What midwits don't realize is that memes are way more powerful than actual utility so it's best to just invest in coins with strong meme potential rather than utility.

Buy ISO coins. Spread across them all. It is literally that easy. Retards lost everything to VC garbage during the Dotcom and others refused to invest post-bust. Just have a base core position and buy the fuck out of the bursting of the everything bubble (which crypto will fall with). Don't try to short or time it and just buy and self-custody the safe coin equivalents to smart people who weren't superstitiously/midwit tier baby-with-the-bathwater thinking when Dotcom crashed and couldn't see the clear winners. There were a handful of EXTREMELY obvious and safe investments which you got the opportunity to basically buy as low as they'd ever been. Some missed out from chasing garbage, some missed out by over-general stupid fear. Don't be either. Be smart.
