I think this is a good crypto, the team seem professional and smart, they have great connections within the industry as well as budding ties to tradfi, and their oracle service is increasingly being seen as key to the whole space. The tech is nascent but I feel like if it ever takes off properly Chainlink will be at the forefront. They've had their issues with monetisation and have had to bootstrap the whole network to grow as quickly as they have but they seem to have turned the corner on that and are going to be charging going forward.
I would say this is a safe bet and the current price seem extremely low to me given the potential of the project and how connected they are to all of DEFI.

You never know they did say about extending the pool in the current version but we'll just have to wait and see.
Eventually though all LINK will be able to be staked so ultimately no worries at all.
