Frankly, the more time elapses the less likely any if that seems. Five years ago there was literally nothing out there that even came close, now it seems that every bank, central bank and government is doing something LIKE Ripple has been promising, yet not one of them seems to have anything to do with Ripple itself, let alone XRP. On very few occassions where there is some connection it is always oblique and/or obscure, never direct and clear. Looks like the world has caught up on terms of tech and now everybody is doing their own thing, leaving Ripple in the dust.

I would love nothing more than to be completely wrong here, as I am one of those idiots who fell for the memes way back when, but now even the most hard core XRP world domination twittervangelists are starting to admit that IF XRP is going to be used for whatever, it will most likely not be the only one, in fact it will be one of MANY, which doest exactly bode well for the price potential at 100 billion supply.

Also their price predictions have become A LOT tamer, if they do them at all now. After all, they claim Ripple is already working with 100s of institutions and it hasn't really done any wonders to the price of XRP. So either that is bullshit or whatever Ripple is sellling works perfectly well with XRP being worth pennies.

Overall, it seems time has not been kind to the Ripple/XRP project. It could still happen, but it is unlikely to happen as has been enlessly shilled here. More likely it will be a very watered down version of the prophecies, if at all.

We'll see in two more weeks I guess.
