Why don’t billionaires just buy up all the available food from the stores and auction each item off to the highest bidder? Think of the insane profit potential. They could do the same with clean water

Sure, some people wouldn’t be able to eat on some days, but that’s how markets work. Supply and demand

It’s the same thing they do with housing

the marketcap for food is in the trillions so i doubt they'd be able to afford EVERYTHING

They do this with all of those things as much as they can without angering the cows they are milking

I'm pretty sure they make more out of just price fixing and having people pay them over a lifetime. That's how it works in Canada and Galen Weston (the person who owns all their food) is doing well for himself

Who do you think you're buying food from? They already own it all. It's easier and more profitable to set fixed prices, and let you walk and with a cart collecting what you want. Social disorder and riots are bad for business, so they make sure everyone can buy some

This. OP is retarded

>> No.54471522

Whats even the point of doing that when you have the money printer that just prints money whenever you feel like it?
Op you're doing too much work

they already do

"billionaires" adhere to a different sent of rules from the rest of society

There are limits and restrictions put in place to prevent things like this specifically for them.
